StyleFoul: A-Rod's wife wears F-bomb T-shirt to game
Ok, I'll admit it. I have a juvenile sense of humor, and occasionally find crass, offensive T-shirts with four-letter slogans amusing. I, however, wouldn't ever wear one, especially not at a public event, and especially if that event were geared toward families. But Alex Rodriguez's wife apparently thinks the "F-bomb" is funny on a T-shirt no matter where you're wearing it -- even if that means sportin' your "F--- You" top at the stadium during one of your husband's baseball games. Classy! Oh yeah, she was with the couple's 2-year-old daughter at the time. Even more classy!
Normally you'd get kicked out of the ballpark for a shirt like that, but when you're married to the second-highest-paid baseball player in the world, I guess you can wear whatever you want.

Oh please, had it been any other, lower/middle-class woman sitting in middle of the crowd no one would've given her a second glance. It's just the fact that she is A-Rod's wife is the only reason this article was even written.
FYI, we live in America and if she wants to wear an offensive t-shirt with the "F-bomb" on the front, than she has every right to do so. (Oh, and BTW 2-year-old little girls can't read, let alone know what it means.)

There was a time when Alex R. wouldn't have given the time of day, to such a sleazy, crass "women". But that was back in the day; when he cared what people thought of him and when he gave baseball a good name. Now, he's got all this money and no class and it looks like he married the same.

No respect for herself or her man. If he thought it was ok then I wonder how miffed he would be if someone called her a stupid bitch. Maybe she wears the pants.

Enough with the who cares comments! Would it kill us to show a bit of decency and class? In the grand scheme of things, her offense is not at a crime level, but I think the article's point is well-taken. Show a little more decency and respect toward others and your kids may learn the same.

I think the woman has been through enough humiliation to earn the right to wear whatever she wants. It's not my style but we live in a country where you have the right to say and wear what you want! What it should have said, however, was "F*** A-Rod"

poor a-rods' wifey, she just doesn't get enough attention, she has to wear a shirt that EVERYONE will look at and comment on. must be that self esteem her hubbys' money can't buy. while that may be a cutesy lil shirt on bar patrons, it screams someone please pay attention to me in this venue. I guess her hubbys' money can buy her freedom of speech. hopefully when her daughter wants to wear that kind of clothing when she is older, her mom has the same "freedom of speech" attitude. :')

I think everyone that thinks it's great might feel differently if they had to explain the shirt to their 3 year old sitting behind them.

I'm totally confused about this incident for several reasons- at whom is she directing this" f*** you" phrase? Is it the media, the fans, the people in the stands, someone else?
If it's to any of the above, then, what she's saying is, hey, if my hubby wants to screw around with other women, don't tell me about it.
She should be directing her anger at her husband, not everybody else.
In other words, don't shoot the messenger!! Her action shows truly a total lack of class. WOULD JACKIE KENNEDY HAVE EVER DONE THIS?

IF SHE WAS A BIKER BROAD IN STURGIS NO ONE WOULD HAVE NOTICED. AS A SPORTS "STARS" WIFE IT WAS A PRETTY LAME STUPID THING TO DO. NO CLASS!......AND HE TOO HAS LITTLE CLASS TO GO WITH HIS WIFE WHILE SHE IS DRESSED LIKE THAT. JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN HIT A BALL WITH A STICK OR YOUR FOOT OR THROW IT THROUGH A HOOP DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE VERY BRIGHT.

Money may not buy you happiness but it damn sure buys you a seat in the stadium. Anyone and everyone else who displayed this little class would have been tossed out on their ...
This is probably the classist thing this 'lady' has done. The best thing is I'm not married to her.

That is what I have issues with. I want some consistency. So your 2 yr. old daughter can't read it, huh? How bout the other impressionable youth in attendance?

If you read the whole article, "Normally you'd get kicked out of the ballpark for a shirt like that"..that is a fact. Yankee stadium doesn't allow offensive slogans on shirts. But because she's A-Rod's wife, no one stopped her. Don't get me wrong, he's a jerk and shouldn't have cheated on her knowing it would be displayed for all to see. But c'mon! She should be the bigger person here and show more class and not lower herself to his standards. It just puts her in the same league as the trash he stepped out with.

I organize activities for abused, neglected. and abandoned children. If someone shows up with inappropiate apparel I give them a choice--change or leave. I set the standards.
